Exercise is medicine and the most important pillar of your wellbeing. It is my core offering.

I strongly believe that the best thing anyone can do if they are looking for wellbeing gains is to prioritise exercise. It is the number one predictor of length and quality of life, often referred to by longevity experts as the most potent "drug" we have at our disposal.

I work with women on a 1:1 basis in the comfort of their own homes or other location chosen by them. The programmes I create for my clients are driven by my extensive knowledge of women's health, particularly relating to the changes that occur during the perimenopausal and menopausal years. Your life stage and personal health profile will strongly factor into the design of your programme. For example, resistance training is a key strategy to help maintain muscle mass and preserve bone density during menopause, but it must be done carefully by taking into consideration conditions such as osteopenia or osteoporosis. Whether you exercise regularly and are looking for a change in your regime, or are a newcomer to physical activity, I'm here to help with your fitness goals. Training with me is fun and personalised; expect laughs, sweating, and, most importantly, results. Integrated into my personal training approach is help and advice regarding nutrition, sleep and general wellbeing. Each session will be adjusted as needed depending on how you show up. "Change-up triggers", as I like to call them, include where you are in your menstrual cycle, if you are fasting, how much sleep you had the night before, or if you're experiencing life stressors that impact your ability to focus. I believe that what life is throwing at you must be considered when you are working out, and this is especially true for women.

In addition, my academic background in psychology means that I am able to embed evidence-based principles of applied behavioural psychology into my coaching practice to help you maximise your results and achieve your goals.

The diagram below outlines the typical personal training process that is used at Rise. Of course, this may vary depending on each client's needs.

At present, I only offer mobile in-person training in the following postcodes: GU9, GU10 and GU26. If you live further afield but are interested in training with me, please contact me as I do travel further (travel charges will apply). I hope to be able to offer training in my own home gym in the near future.

Prices for mobile in-person training:

  • Individual - £50 per single session or £450 for a package of ten sessions.

  • Couple/Duo - £65 per single session or £575 for a package of ten sessions.

  • The above prices include travel to/from clients within GU9, GU10 and GU26 postcodes.


I also offer a gym-buddy service where I accompany clients to their gym if they would like some help gaining confidence on the gym floor or in a fitness class. These are charged at £45 per hour/class (guest pass needed, unless for David Lloyd in Farnham).
